Brief History

PSA CONSULTING ENGINEERS, INC. is a professional corporation founded in 1971 by Paul F. Sprehe that has been continuously engaged in the private practice of professional engineering since that time. PSA began with a total staff of three, primarily providing mechanical services for Architectural clients. In the late 1970’s, PSA expanded into a full-service firm providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services.

In 1995 Mr. Sprehe left the firm and the firm began to aggressively expand its marketing area throughout the United States. Since 1995, PSA has been managed by the current partners. At present PSA is licensed in and practices in many states with the majority of our work in the States of Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas.

The services offered by PSA include building systems design, building studies including acoustical/noise analyses, code compliance, computerized energy analyses, building condition reports, design peer reviews, value engineering studies, preparation of construction documents and providing construction observation for all phases of mechanical and electrical engineering. PSA has worked on projects of all types, including aircraft hangers, broadcast facilities, health-care facilities, housing facilities, low- and high-rise office buildings, medical office buildings, museums, performing arts centers and auditoriums, research laboratories, schools (from kindergarten through collegiate), sports arenas and complexes, and recreational facilities.
